FALL HARVEST Workshops & Hafla, featuring Joynan!

Workshops 1 – 4:30 pm (limited to 30)  &  Hafla 6:45 – 10 pm

$35 Individual workshop (includes Hafla) by 10/25/14, $45 thereafter

Joynan is a Colorado treasure who has been teaching & performing internationally for 40 years. She was one of the first to begin the art of double veil and specializes in articulations, finger cymbals & precision technique.

Joynan’s Drum solo(1 – 2:30 pm)
Build intermediate/advanced dance precision and articulation as you learn creative combos.  Then practice timing and stamina while learning some of Joynan’s famous Drum Solo!
Note: Students need strong intermediate moves to participate fully. Lower level students are invited to attend but may not be able to do all that is taught.

Double & Single Veil Techniques(3 – 4:30 pm)
Learn from a master!  Joynan will teach single & double veil techniques with combos & wraps, and will also teach how to use the veils with cymbals. Bring 2 half-circle veils & finger cymbals.
